Behind each person’s name lies a story and sometimes, a legacy. How was it chosen and why? A popular name at the time? Family heritage? Close to an ethnic name but pronounceable in a new country? Some names have meanings that become important to their bearer, others names just carry on doing their work of daily identification with no questions asked.
