IN COLLABORATION WITH
Join us for a discussion as we explore the history of science and innovation in Armenia during the Soviet era to today, and the role women have played in the development of this ever growing sector.
More info:
The Armenian Institute is dedicating the month of March to women, celebrating the many achievements of Armenian women. As part of our month-long program, we will be hosting a talk on Thursday 18th March about women working in science and innovation in Armenia, in collaboration with the FAST Foundation.
Armenia is enjoying somewhat of a renaissance in science and innovation, and women are playing a major role in this whether they are the inventors, innovators or implementers; more women than ever are working in this sector. We are inviting speakers from across the sector to participate in this discussion and help us shine a light on their achievements and contributions, while also remembering notable women of the past.
Featured speakers:
Suzanna Shamakhyan, Vice-President of Partnerships and Programs at the Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology (FAST)
Naira Hovakimyan, W. Grafton and Lillian B. Wilkins Professor
